Do you need to drink: Although the use of alcohol with Medrol (methylprednisolone) 6 day pack is not contraindicated, it does increase your risk of possible pancreatitis, throat and stomach irritation, and additionally raise sugar loads.

Should not: Although not contraindicated, Medrol (methylprednisolone) dose pack should not be taken with alcohol as it may increase your risk of pancreatitis, irritate your throat and stomach and raise your glucose levels.

Moderation: Moderation is the answer. Steroids may cause gastric distress which may be made worse by alcohol. Be careful.
