What came first: Temporal Mandibular Joint problems can result in jaw pain radiating to the ear. Can be a result of clenching or grinding the teeth while sleeping. A tooth abscess can also cause similar problems. Parotid gland inflammation, local lymph node enlargement suggests an infectious source. If the ear pain started first swimmers ear or an ear infection needs to be considered. An exam by your doctor is due
