Needs drainage: A 26 year old male with what sounds like abscesses on his thigh. Although one has drained spontaneously at home, you should be seen by a health care provider who will determine if further drainage is necessary. If they are hard and red, often an indicator that there is an infection that needs drainage and possibly antibiotics.
