A member asked:

Diagnosed with chonic dehydration. told to drink 2.3l min. of water per day.. how long should it take to rehydrate and stop heart palpitations 100%?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Quickly: If you are drinking adequate water per day you should be rehydrated quickly. If you find that you still have heart palpitations then they may be due to another cause and you may want to add a little salt with the fluid- a handful of salted nuts, etc. Also you should be peeing several times per day- every 4 to 6 hours- that is another sign you have adequate hydration See your doctor if not better
