Yes: Heart is a very metabolically active organ and needs several nutrients to function well like coq10, l-carnitine, magnesium, ribose etc and lack of these will cause the vessels to have greater stiffness. Also indiscriminate of calcium supplements is causing abnormal calcifications of the whole body and arteries.

A 34-year-old female asked:
Can plaque build up in your arteries be reversed?

Not really: Plaque build up is one of the causes for poor blood flow to the brain and heart, causing strokes and heart attacks. Seeing your doc and getting a cholesterol test would help the doctor decide if you qualify for statin therapy. An asa a day also may help, but i dont know too many 34 Y.O. Males on asa therapy for arteriosclerosis. Go see your doc and he can test you. Diet & exercise is the key.
