Cardiology 43 years experience
Multiple: A CT scan, either for calcium score or angiogram will show calcified plaque non-invasively, a cardiac catheterization, or coronary angiogram will show soft or calcified plaque, but is an invasive test. A simpler test, such as a stress test, may be a good starting point. Check with your doc.
