A member asked:

Is it possible to get back to back colds/viral infections. i had the flu then a week later once the flu left same symptoms but more phlegm?

Continuous colds: Yes- it's certainly possible to get infected with a cold virus, then have another infection come along right after. This is particularly true if you're not taking care of yourself (not enough sleep, smoking, poor diet for example). Besides, 'germs' do this for a living - and I wonder what you're exposures were? The body is resilient but if you're still having major problems - call your doctor.
