Prandial syncope: May be post prandial hypotension- a drop in blood pressure after eating because the blood is re-directed to the bowel and there is insufficient sympathetic tone to maintain head perfusion. occurs at times due to DM, Acarbose another diabetes drug has been used, small meals. f/u/ w/ doc/cardiologist/neurologist who specializes in autonomic dysfunction http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/559578_5
