Are venous aneurysms dangerous? superficial

Yes , if untreated: Unlike arterial where rupture and hemorrhage is common , in venous aneurysms thrombus formation leading to dangerous pulmonary embolism is the danger besides hemorrhage .. Regardless of location they should be followed closely , will need anticoagulation therapy , some need surgical intervention . Speak to your doctor , may refer you to a specialist .
