A member asked:

What's the chance of an occult lung cancer causing 7 years of fatigue and other non specific issues but not showing on a CT scan of the chest. Thought about paraneoplastic syndrome but these seem very rare & cancer normally appears within a few years?

Is it possible to have paraneoplastic neurological symptoms (not LEMS) from SCLC with no evidence of LC on CT scan 1 year after symptoms started?
Paraneoplastic endocrine symptoms. Neg CTs in 2015&16. Neg PET end 2016. Neg CT Apr17. Will we ever find primary or even is there cancer? Help plse.
Ct scan picked up a lump in my breast near my nipple - I cant feel anything. I have no pain or lumps that I can tell. Is this likely to be cancer Im scared. This was an incidental finding. I have had a neuro endocrine tumor in the past?
Conflicting info one doc says small cell lung cancer cannot be ruled out by unremarkable chest ct scan. Another doc says it can as sclc is exceptionally unlikely with nothing significant on ct. Any radiologists here have any views. Thank you.
