What is a normal fasting glucose am reading? i've read anywhere from 72-108 and 100 and below. i'm diabetic so i like to test in the am once a month.

A1c better: It is good that you are testing your control of diabetes. Normal fasting blood sugar is less than 100, however for long term control of diabetes, testing for hemoglobin A1c every 3-4 months is better and you should aim for A1c level of less than 7.0
