What are causes of endrometriosis? how to avoid it?

Endometriosis theory: No one knows the exact reason for Endometriosis causation, however there are several theories that are bandied about. One theory is obstruction or blockage of menstrual flow from a too narrow cervical opening(stenosis) or a hymen that blocks the flow.(imperforate). It then causes a "backup" of menstrual flow which flows backwards through the fallopian tubes into the pelvis where it implants.
