Hard to say: skyla will sometimes cause amenorrhrea and may be good for irregular, heavy periods, but some women report that it makes symptoms other than irregular periods worse. Neither spironolactone nor metformin should interfere with Skyla. The progesterone in skyla acts largely locally so it should not cause you to have more acne problems, although many women claim otherwise
