PCOS & pregnancy: Pcos is one of leading causes of infertility but it is possible to conceive w/proper treatment. Metformin is one of the medications helpful in treating pcos. Also important, Insulin resistance is associated with pcos. Studies show that Insulin resistance makes it more difficult to conceive. Proper diet can improve Insulin levels. Please see your ob/gyn and endocrinologist for workup and treatment.
