Possibly: Pancreatitis is usually due to gallstones or alcohol. There are a number of rare causes. Unhealthy eating and overweight could cause gallstones, and then the pancreatitis. Blood tests and an ultrasound of the gallbladder would be helpful. Pancreatitis due to gallstones can be serious requiring surgery.
