See your Family Doc: Think RICE or Rest, Ice, Compression & Elevation for injuries. While it might be difficult to compress & elevate your back, rest & ice (cold compresses) are good 1st attempt at pain control. Ask your parents/guardian about over-the-counter pain relief such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen/naproxen. Make sure you retain bladder & bowel control and are able to walk on tiptoes & heels.
