HematomaWillResolve: You just had a polio shot and red sore appeared.It is nothing to worry about.It is little clotted blood under your skin as the needle might have caused a little bleeding under your skin.Put ice pack on it and if it is painful take over the counter pain medicine.It will resolve by itself and you may see a bruise at the site.An injection does not cause infection so soon suddenly.
