A member asked:

I run for 15 minutes in morning and 15 mins in evening on grassy ground. very comfortable, no pain anywhere. should i breathe from mouth or nose ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Running+breathing~: Hi~ I dont know, but urban legend dictates that if you nose breathe you wont get a "stitch" whereas you do earlier if you mouth breathe. My experience when training for marathons was that you get stitches when u are unfit and slow nose breathing is the norm when you are fit. But I really dont know. I almost always nose breathed when I ran. But your call ! :-))
