Allergex vs zyrtec (cetirizine): Allergex (chorpheneramine) is a first generation antihistamine, while zyrtec (cetirizine) is a second generation, less sedating antihistamine, both are safe with pregnancy, but safety is unknown in breastfeeding for both. May be you were better off with allergex, hence the change, need to ask your doctor
