Keep well: hydrated so your urine will be dilute. You should get pain meds from your doctor b/c kidney stones can become really painful, especially when they move. If you have an infection, have your doctor prescribe an antibiotic, so you will not get a kidney infection.

See urologist today: 1) Get urine culture to identify organism causing UTI & start treatment. 2) Go to ER now if pain is severe & urologist can't see U today. 3) UTIs in presence of stones can not be eliminated until some have been removed because bacteria remain "hiding" in stone. 4) Stones > 6 mm will not pass spontaneously. 5) risk of obstruction. 6)Could respond to min. invasive antibiotics & Shockwave lithotripsy
