Questionable concept: Many alternative practitioners ascribe many health problems and symptoms to people being too acid or alkaline. While I practice holistic medicine I've never found much credibility in this concept. Our bodies keep our pH in a narrow range unless we're seriously ill, but it's wise to eat a healthy diet to reduce the effort our body has to make to keep our pH balanced.
