Support health: I recommend every person take a multivitamin whether pregnant or not; prenatal vitamins are a type of multivitamin rich in folic acid and with limited Vitamin A but are reasonable for women to take whether pregnant or not. Not needed: you can be taking a supplement that you dont need. Excess vitamin A and D can cause headaches, so look out for that side effect. Prenatal vitamins are also high in folic acid which you may not need in such a high amount if youre not pregnant
