Eval bite/sinus etc: interesting case....but I would check the bite of the teeth on that side first (clencher/grinder??), then eval sinus for issues and then work my way around the muscles of mastication to locate what could be over stimulating the area to the point of pain upon chewing. So I would have your local dentist evaluate it.
