Go yourself: Although they may have the need, you can benefit by understanding the issues involved and why you feel the way you do.You can also acquire some coping skills that can make your life better. If they can be drawn into family therapy, fine, but you should not limit yourself to one solution.

It's a risk,: But there’s nothing that would keep you from learning skills and improved coping from either family therapy, or individual or even group therapy without them. There are several options both with and without them. Each option may benefit you which might change their behavior whether they're in therapy or not. Good luck on your journey.
