Hematoma?: This could be a hematoma, which is essentially a black-and-blue mark that's a bit deeper under the skin. Whereas black-and-blue marks spread in two dimensions, a hematoma grows in three dimensions so can feel like a lump under the skin. If your leg is not diffusely swollen then a DVT is probably not a concern. Warm soaks to this area may help.
