i have been tested and i'm positive for hep c. my liver has visible damage. will it heal and is there a cure for the most common strain of the virus.

Usually curable, but: Most hepatitis C can be effectively treated these days. The main problem is high cost, a particular problem depending on your health insurance and personal finances. If you're not already lined up with an infectious diseaes or liver disease specialist, that's your next step. Good luck.
