2 days ago diagnosed with severe tonsillitis. later that night threw up some blood (from inflamed tonsils?) bright red. today some black sticky stool.

Blood in emesis: acute tonsilitis should not give you blood in vomit or stool(dark stool) You probably swalowed blood either from nose bleed or GI bleed .hopefully your clotting system is ok You need to be examined for the above causes .so that the real problem is apperant
