3 days: If the left over cipro (ciprofloxacin) medication has not expired yet (expiration should be printed on the package), you can complete total of three days of treatment with 500 mg twice daily and assess clinically, if symptoms persists, you need to see PCP for urinalysis, culture, and appropriate treatment
