Something benign: female of unknown age note she has had US of chest showing something benign. Will I need surgery? Need much more information and without that and seeing the US cannot help. Are you talking about inside your chest or in the breast for example. Get the report and get back with us but better yet ask your Dr. who ordered the test. He or she knows you best.
