BP and pulse.: Not all BP medications lower the heart rate, and a normal heart rate is between 60-100 bpm. So this does sound OK.

Observe: 85 beats per minute is normal. If feeling warm is temporary it is ok. Is this friend having hot flashes at night? Some people get warm while sleeping and it is still normal. If it is not causing distress it is not a problem. BP is supposed to be normal when medication is on board.
