A few thoughts.: 1) certain that you are not pregnant? Might want to have a blood test unless you are not sexually active 2) infection can cause this. Infections of the female genital tract can be sexually transmitted but also not sexually transmitted. A doctor can do a pelvic exam and find out. 3) menstrual irregularities can be caused by many things, travel, illness, stress, breast feeding. See GYN if concerned
