Needs caution: B"sd Have often had this question for my patients. Need to coordinate between psychiatrist and endocrinologist. My particular concern would be if using a dopamine antagonist medication, usually atypical anti psychotic. So that effectiveness of medication may be less. Also, the dopamine stimulation could in theory bring on as you say anxiety or psychotic symptoms. Glad to go into detail.
