i'm having severe shooting pain down my arm and down my leg. do i have a pinched nerve? or a herniated disc? i went to the urgent and she gave 3 meds.

Shooting Pains: Pinched nerves can definitely give these symptoms, along with bulging discs. I am a podiatrist so the arm shooting pain is out of my field, but cardio issues need to be ruled out for sure. I visit to your primary is recommended. Dr Rich Blake

Potentially: Your symptoms are potentially consistent with that diagnosis. I would not hesitate to be seen in follow up, an MRI is usually the test of choice for a disc herniation/ pinched nerve.
