A member asked:

I had bursitis (sp?) in my thigh when i was younger. is it possible to still have it over 10 years later?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bursitis is an: inflammatory condition associated with injury or overuse. It can occur at any time during one's life when the joint in question sustains an injury from trauma or repetitive use, and it is more likely to happen the older one gets. So yes you can have bursitis 10 years apart. Thanks for trusting in HealthTap.
