I have bursitis in my left thigh & have had cortisone injections which i found unbearably painful. i now have severe pain again. can i ask my gp for oral cortisone?

Not helpful: Oral cortisone will not work. Bursitis in the area is often a referred pain from the lower back and not a true bursitis. See a rheumatologist.
