YES: but it's rare...There have been cases of UC with the only complaint(s) are those of constipation and or diarrhea without fever or blood in stools. If you are concened about this ee your PCP..There are newer BLOOD TESTS which can screen for inflammatory bowel disease. Hope this helps! Dr Z
