Anal fissure: You may have a slight tear in the mucosa of the anus from passing hard stool. Keep your stool soft by taking a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drinking lots of water. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.

Anal fissure.: That sounds like an anal fissure. Happens sometimes when we pass a larger or harder stool, which causes a little cut about the anus as you described. Drink plenty of water, eat plenty of fiber and use stool softener so for a short while (one to two weeks) and see if this helps.
