Too soon: The symptoms of a new HIV infection (acute retroviral syndrome, or ARS) don't start before about 10 days. Maybe sometimes as soon as 7 days, but 3 days isn't possible. Also, as you apparently know, ARS usually includes sore throat, so that's also against HIV as the cause. It's something else. These symptoms are indeed consistent with malaria or typhoid, but also many other infections. See doctor.
