I have lower back pain on right side of spine what can i do to relieve it?

Cause: need to determine cause of pain. Likely muscle strain which will hurt more with movement, but could be kidney infection which would cause typically urinary complaints or fever, could be early appendicitis too but would think would have pain in front right too. Other possible is shingles which would eventually result in a rash.
