Not good: If you have 2 large boils you should see your local provider and have these treated. The purple usually means that the infection is progressed and destroyed the blood vessels and have some bleeding as well. These need to be drained for this to improve much more quickly and cleaned. Then you should have some treatment. Apply warm compresses and see your provider. I hope this helps and good luck.
