Hi, i have what i thought was a uti. i had the urge to urinate frequently and would burn. i don't have the urge but it still burns sometimes now?

Possibly: It is possible it is a urinary tract infection. However there are other disorders of the urinary tract or genital tract ( vagina, vulva...) that could cause similar symptoms. I would recommend drinking a lot of fluids preferably water and follow up with doctor if does not go away
