Need photo: At the onset of a stye/hordeolum, a localized are of the eyelid next to the eyelashes is red and swollen before forming a pustule, and occ that is visible only by lifting the eyelid. Use warm compresses. If you are referring to the corner or outer canthus where the eyelashes join, then this may be related to anything that causes eye irritation and excessive tearing, such as allergy or a bad cold
