A member asked:

Is clarithromycin a broad spectrum or narrow spectrum ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not broad: Would consider it a more outpatient, narrower spectrum drug - having said that though it does have some very specific use such as treating certain types of Mycobacterium infections as a first line drug.
