No: OA is by definition osteoarthritis, otherwise known as degenerative arthritis and is not "caused" by a connective tissue disorder. This is not to say that you have OA, but rather the search for other causes of arthritis is usually to investigate inflammatory causes such as, for example, RA, lupus, etc; which usually involves a thorough rheumatology evaluation.
