Inflammation: Sometimes people get an inflammatory reaction in the hair follicles. The best treatment for this I have found is Nizoral (ketoconazole) AD shampoo. It is expensive and somewhat hard to find but it works great for many people with this problem. You can find it online if it is not in your local pharmacy. Or perhaps your pharmacist could order it for you.
