Sore scalp: Your sore scalp could be caused by sunburn, allergic reaction (to hair dye, hair products, shampoo, etc), bruising, or infection. It would be impossible to tell without examining you, so I would recommend seeing a doctor if this isn't improving in the next day or so.

Sunburn or allodynia: First, is your scalp sunburned? if so there is your answer and I would recommend wearing a hat. If there is no sunburn and you have pain when your pain is moved or when you touch your scalp that is known as allodynia. allodynia can be a prodrome up to 24 hours before the onset of migraine and there are other causes as well. you could have occipital neuralgia. this should e discussed with your doc
