A member asked:

I paint my nails a lot, so use nail polish remover once a week (roughly) could this be why my finger nails are slightly orange towards the tips?

Yellow nails: It is common to see a yellow/orange color on nails due to excessive nail polish and acetone. Please make sure that you decrease the frequency. Hope this helps.

Likely: The chemical in nail polish remover, acetone, is likely affecting your nails. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
