A member asked:

Will taking zantac effect my lipitor (atorvastatin)? if so how far apart should i take these?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Drug interaction: Zantac can increase the drug levels of lipitor (atorvastatin). Taking them apart will not help. It is better to ask your doctor what to take for heartburn while you are on the lipitor (atorvastatin). It is better to avoid zantac while on lipitor (atorvastatin) unless you are only taking it occasionally.
