Very likely: Locked knees happen because something is blocking them like a loose body or meniscus. You should get it checked as delay can damage the surface cartilage

A thorough history and physical followed by diagnostic imaging can help get the answers and treatment you might need. A meniscus tear can result in locking, catching, and giving way.
