At age 35: it's doubtful anything "superserious" is going on. Your GP has performed an exam he/she is competent to do (LIMITED) and good medical care directs him/her to refer you for an "advanced" study (BTW these exams sound "serious" with today's pre-medication they area "breeze"! RELAX and "complete" your GI "work-up) Hope this helps! DR Z
